Dana Pollard: Assistant Vice President.  Dana joined the Doctors' Insurance Agency in December of 2006 in our Southern California office.  She brings 14 years of industry experience to our clients.  She is especially adept at working with large clients and brings extensive knowledge of property casualty lines including worker’s compensation, general liability & property coverages. Who We Are

At The Doctors' Insurance Agency our primary focus is to be a strong advocate for the insurance needs of our policyholders. With an established, diligent and experienced staff, we are available to professionally maintain our policyholders' accounts, use our resources to secure the most comprehensive and cost effective coverage options, and communicate the policy guidelines to ensure that all medical-related services performed are properly insured.

Richard O’Brien - In Memoriam:  Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Doctors Insurance Agency.  Dick had over 50 years of experience in the insurance industry and over 40 in medical malpractice.  He had been involved with The Doctors Company since its inception in 1976 and continued to be an important liaison between the Agency and TDC regarding management issues.  Dick passed in late summer of 2006 and we at the agency daily miss his gentle guidance and good humor.

Brad O’Brien:  President.  Brad has been working in the medical malpractice field since 1988, and leads the Agency in Operations and Marketing.  His long range Marketing Plan, and years of first hand experience with insured policyholders, has proved to be instrumental in providing for the continued growth of the Agency.  Licensed Property/Casualty and Life Health Agent.

Kay Isola: Senior Partner.  Having joined the Agency in 2002, Kay came to us with over 10 years of experience in the professional liability industry.  As a former Health Division Managing Director for another agency, she developed important relationships with retail brokers that continue to provide fruitful coverage options for our insured policyholders.  In addition to managing medical malpractice policies, she oversees much of the agency’s business relating to physicians billing errors and omissions, employment practices liability, and directors & officers policies. Licensed Property/Casualty Agent.

Lisa O’Brien:  Partner.  Having come to us in 1990, Lisa’s expertise centers around the Agency’s Physician’s Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Long Term Care business.  Licensed Life Health Agent.

Peter McGrath:  Senior Broker.   Peter’s expertise is in property casualty lines including worker’s compensation, general liability & property coverages.  With the Agency since 2002, Peter has over 16 years of insurance experience.  Licensed Property/Casualty Agent.

Ron Sandau:  Senior Broker.  With over 11 years at The Doctors Insurance Agency, Ron has a firm knowledge of medical malpractice coverage and focuses primarily on servicing and establishing new TDC business.   Licensed Property/Casualty Agent and Life Health Agent.

Kim Dilena:  Senior Broker.  Previously an underwriter at The Doctors Company, Kim brings the Agency a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise pertaining to TDC underwriting practices and policy coverage issues.  Licensed Property/Casualty Agent.

William Green: Senior Broker. With over 22 years of experience in medical malpractice insurance, Bill joined the agency in September 2008. He brings a broad spectrum of experience, having worked in the capacity of an insurance company representative as well as representing clients in an agent's role, including some of the largest medical liability accounts in California. He most recently worked directly for The Doctors Company, overseeing agency support services and endorsed programs relationship management. Bill specializes in large account sales, service and general sales management. Licensed Property/Casualty, Life and Accident/Health agent.

Sean O’Brien:  Operations Manager.  Sean joined The Doctors Insurance Agency in 1994, and provides important customer service with an emphasis on premium accounting and account reconciliation.

Michael Baus:  Senior Account Executive.  Having come to the Agency in early 2001, Mike services TDC and ancillary business with an emphasis in applications, premium issues and the Agency’s written materials.

Sarah Wolfenbarger: Account Executive. Sarah is the latest addition to the agency.  She provides administrative and clerical support to the agents as well as professional assistance to our clients.  Licensed Property/Casualty Agent.

Linda Eisel:  Account Executive.  Linda has developed a keen knowledge of TDC business with particular emphasis on TDC re-underwriting and renewal accounts. Licensed Property/Casualty Agent.

Oneyda Urbina:  Clerical Assistant.  Oneyda provides general clerical assistance and data entry services and is involved in the tracking of our marketing efforts.
